Intusoft's ICAP/4 product family provides advanced technology for analog and mixed-signal simulation, including design in multiple engineering domains. Basic ICAP/4 Mixed-Systems Design Solution

ICAP/4Windows is a complete design-simulation solution that furnishes design entry, analog & mixed-signal simulation, wealth of debugging tools, 21,200+ simulation models, 2-port analysis, pole-zero analysis, library management tool, waveform viewing and 125 waveform-processing functions. It also includes AC/DC & transient sensitivity analysis, noise and distortion analyses, plus interactive parametric variation and nested component sweeping. A full set of electrical measurements can be specified across the design, which is numerically charted after simulation, including pass/fail histogram and component stress alarms. Advanced verification includes analyses like Monte Carlo, worst case, extreme value and root-summed squares parametric variation. Operating point information can be viewed directly on the schematic and new models can be imported and attached to a graphic shape for simulation.

More Advanced ICAP/4 Mixed-Systems Design Solution

ICAP/4Professional adds in model building tools, Smith charts, SPICE Array Linking Technology (SALT) library for linking large data sets (i.e., via arrays) to the IsSpice4 simulation engine, and automated fault injection and synthesis. The package furnishes 22,400+ simulation models. Under a special agreement, beta software for ICAP/4's Mechantronics library can be obtained. ICAP/4 Professional also includes Intusoft's new "DSP Designer," a novel software/firmware capability used to simulate digital control of a DSP by way of Z transformations and Bode plots.
